Down South over the years we have lost lots of shows and they dont seem to be replacing them, can anyone add to this list.
Taplow Tring Richmond Royal Surrey South East Show at Ardingly Iver (This year only i believe)

Tring is still going and stronger than ever. They run C&T Rider qualifiers. There is a website too Tring and District Horse Association or similar.

I can echo the Essex County! It was a great show and a lucky one for me.
My exmoor stallion won there on at least 3 occasions!

P.S.
I also remember a show called the Spillers Show, I think it was at Ardingly, used to have lorry stickers that where the same logo as the Spillers horse shoe! I competed there a few times with my small hunter and the ponies as had 3 or 4 of those stickers on my lorries windscreen!

Burwood Park and Charles Heidseck were lovely shows - So few now in the South and the North seem to have so many more, I wonder why!

The one I will miss the most is Thorney Island which would be next week.
Obviously for sentimental reasons, but I bet everyone else will miss it for the brilliant RIHS whp course and the range of classes that were put on and the fantastic parking.

We will miss Thorney Island too, such a shame, and for the same reasons as above, also the kids just love tanking down the runway with all the lorries!!!! Hopefully that one will come back but won't ever be the same without Sue.

I bet none of you can remember the shows at Orchard Meadows, Sunbury?!!!!
On a much grander note, I well remember cycling to Richmond Royal and watching the Bullen girls riding those gorgeous Catherston ponies, and Stuart and Nigel Hollings riding Pretty Polly's offspring. Happy Days!!!

I AM SORRY BUT I AGREE WITH UP NORTH AND MISS SCOTLAND BECAUSE HOW CAN U SAY ALL THE SHOWS ARE MOVING UP NORTH PUK,BSPS,NPS,HOYS(MIDDLE),RIHS,OLYIMPIA ARE ALL DOWN SOUTH SO HOW CAN U SAY ALL THE SHOWS ARE UP NORTH ALSO WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE TRAVELLING FROM SCOTLAND I KNOW PEOPLE FROM THERE AND IT TAKES THEM ABOUT A DAY TRAVELLING DOWN SOUTH SO WHAT ABOUT THE PONIES OR HORSES IT MUST TIRE THEM OUT A LOT. WHAT ABOUT PUTTING SHOWS ON AT AINTREE WHERE THEY HAVE THE GRAND NATIONAL. IT IS A AMAZING NEW PLACE THAT HAS BEEN BUILT THERE SPECIALLY FOR CHAMPIONSHIP HORSE SHOWS
Note: in future, please do not post all in capitals, it makes for a difficult read.

We've lost shows down here - like the very good Breamore Show, and Fordingbridge which used to hold qualifiers. They have resurercted both of them but they are not the same and no qualifiers The Dorset Charit Show which started last year hold PUK qualifiers and is very well run
