Im confused!!
Basically looking to loan out a pony this season as cant ride due to pregnacy.
A producer is interested in the pony and would like me to contribute to the showing of the pony although they ar ethe one looking for the showing prospect to be shown under saddle this year.. Is this normal??
Could you also advise me if you charge to loan out a pony- etc as im a first timer at this but dont want it wasted this season...
Thanks for your advice in advance

Normally if a person has a pony on loan, they accept all the financial responsibility for the pony whilst it is in their care, including vet bills, insurance etc., unless stated otherwise in the loan agreement and agreed by both parties.
I wouldn't expect to pay to have the pony shown by the loaner, surely if you'd wanted to place the pony with a producer you'd have advertised to that effect?

Not sure if id pay the producer- if they have enquired about said pony then surley they should do (therfore pay etc) that pony, after all if the pony does well etc it will enhance there reputation.

Echo the above - if a producer wants it it is obviouly a nice pony so loan it to someone else who would appreciate it and pay the expenses for the privilege of you trusting them with your valued possesion. After all you are offering it free - you could lease it and then they would have to pay you.
