The coldest, wettest morning EVER but everything ran brilliantly and the organisers, stewards, judges, competitors and supporters all kept smiling all day! How often can you say that? And the restaurant was warm and pretty efficient. Would love to see the winter / heritage champs at Addington.
Lots of nice ponies out - well done Hermione Gee on her win with an 8 mark lead in the 133 novice workers!

Henrietta Knight's new dun Connie was lovely. Sorry, didn't concentrate on results - just watched bits of classes. There was a very nice liver chestnut section B in previous class - sorry, not sure who. And watched Katie White on 2 which went very well - thought she would win championship on one of them, but she didn't. Not very helpful! sorry.

Saw the Dun Connie - lovely pony - it really moved!!
Well done to Ella Wheeler and Tetcott Paper Boy. Winner 133cm Open WHP then Champion! Second week running taking the honour after the same at Area 15a at Patchetts last week!
Thanks for the kind comments on the show. Considering the weather I thought we had a great turnout and everyones spirits seemed really high! I would really like to thank the judges and stewards, especially the ones outside. They never complained once, yet I saw how cold and wet they were. Chattering teeth, blue lips and faces, the lot!

Well done to those that braved the weather and well done Artistic xxx Thanks Elliebee - but we didn't have our best day ever although it was very well worthwhile. I'm not involved with the people I mentioned - just noticed they'd gone very well. Do hope you are feeling better.

Can I just say a MASSIVE well done to all those competitors that braved the appalling weather (in spite of an even worse forecast) A huge THANK YOU to the judges and an even bigger THANK YOU :)to the wonderful stewards some of whom stood outside all day without even a whisper of complaint. To the 3 young stewards, in age order, that were a massive help, Harry (wrapped up to the hilt) , Amy and Charlotte. Its great that they understand that to continue running shows, younger help (not to mention younger legs) is needed Lastly, I am going to single out - and name - some competitors who took the time at the end of the day, even though the weather was so bad, to come and thank us. It really is noticed and makes the whole day worthwhile Susie and Lucy Eddis Bea Wheeler Katie and Rory Gilsenan Debbie Spears Lucy Burton and Sam Roberts - who has come and said thank you at every show I have had anything to do with at Addington.

It makes it all worthwhile to get some thankyou's at the end of the day agent when you've worked so hard to organize and put on a show. It certainly makes my day. Well done x
