Congratulations to Simone Jarnet with Pendley Sir Gayle - RIHS small hack - really pleased for you and your lovely boy. Thinks Adams large won and was Hack champion - didn't see the class but hear it looked outstanding. Think Martin Skelton won the RIHS Riding Horses - saw him with a sash, but will stand corrected if wrong! Also know Victoria M won the small coloured class and Helen Baker the large. Jayne Weber on a beautiful young horse 1st Novice hack with Kirstie Harris 2nd - big class well done to all.

Jayne Weber on a beautiful young horse 1st Novice hack with Thank you - we were thrilled with the way that Saatchi dealt with his first show! He seemed to be enjoying all the attention which bodes well for a showing career ;D

Coloured Champion was Wilderness May Pageant a 4 year old by my small TB stallion Groomsbridge May I. Fabulous result for a 4 year old first time in the ring.

Is it me or did the photographer not take many pictures? I was expecting every class to be covered but it seems not. I saw two photographers there?

They took virtually no pictures of the horses at all. No pictures of the winners, but some (and I am not being sarcastic here!) great pics of dogs and some out of the show ring shots. But in terms of actually seeing what a horse looks like - absolutely nothing! 73 pictures from the indoor classes (which started at 9 and finished at 6) - and many of those were people standing holding their horse in the line up!
Great shame as there were lots of very good horses there and many novices out for their first shows, so pics would have been good to have. Never mind - it was a very well run show, didn't rain and lots of people had a great time - which is far more important than the photos!
