Hanmere Showman won the smalls which was a surprise to many as the ringside consensus was that he had more than a very good look at the water splash ie quite a resistance plus a step-back but he did a lovely round otherwise. Very lucky to get given a clear round, perhaps. Moortown Honeyman had an unlucky pole. Rookery Fizz went very sweetly with a very young and good jockey. There was a lovely grey pony who bounced the water splash! 2 other dartmoors went really well. Bradmore Raindance's jockey got a bit lost and got a technical stop. There were several others but can't remember them all. Scarlett Worrow cruised round the middle height on Silver Fox and won, and also won the plaited 133 qualifier and was champion. Jemima Herbert's lovely young connie won the novice 144 plaited and reserve. modified to add: Lucy Eddis won the RI Nursery with Valentine Hazel having her first outing - she had already qualified Dunshane Paris earlier in the season. Also won the other nursery class, and champion. Sorry, don't know any more. Congratulations to Lucy Eddis and Valentine Hazel this is a delightful pony with a great future and another star from the Valentine Stud . Jim and Joan will be thrilled.

A huge congratulations to Scarlett Worrow and Silver Fox qualifying for 13hh RIHS plaited and winning another medium breed M+M RIHS qualifier - what a day!! Also very well done to Katie Moult for getting two RI tickets in one day - on Special Agent (14hh plaited WHP) and Gwarchord Sparkling Comet (large M+M WHP) Did not go to Ipswich but well done to Katie Moult, thats 3 ponies qualified by by my counting and it's only mid April. I hope her dad has got deep pockets and a big lorry for the trip to Hickstead! Are there any more or is that all of them Katie? Once again a huge well done you deserve it.

Thank you so much for your very kind comments! We are thrilled with Hazel and had a magical day with her - the sort of day we shall be remembering hard next time we have a bad one!

First Ridden RIHS was Jessica Solterman on bay pony, don't know its name but has been with Oliver Burchall until recently.

xlucyx ~ Greer was second on a plaited but didnt have her RI card so was passes down to third. Third was a hairy (I think a 4 year old produced by Christina Gillet).... not sure of 4th but 5th was Jack Harvey Frost (another hairy).
