How many of you went yesterday and what did you think? Very poorly supported, I expected to see a lot more people there. Shame they couldn't get a ridden Dales or an older Fell though!

I was there yesterday with my pony. And thought it wasn't too bad. The way they split the breed groups was interesting to say the least. A lot of the morning session didn't really touch upon the welfare side of things.
It had the potential to be a very good day but organisation wasn't the best. They left it all a bit last minute to finalise things and get ponies.
I didn't stay into the afternoon but heard that the afternoon talks were quite informative and worthwhile.
Their vital mistake was not taking money up front for tickets.
I think the place is very much in its teething stages and things are gradually improving. I hope it develops into a good equestrian venue and that they have another similar but better natives day next year.
