In spite of the VERY long wait (like 4 hours!) my daughter did the Open M&M and won and was M&M champion!!! Came out of the ring at 6.20pm and poor Mike Saunders still had one more class to go So very pleased but not sure we will go back!!

The afternoon judge (Miss Duffield) wasn't there for some reason so Mike Saunders who had been judging all morning said he would carry on - so the "not before 1pm" classes started at approx 3pm. The classes were all a fair size and he stripped everybody. He did do a fair bit of moving around. His steward - who always stewards for him was very efficient and he got people out very quickly - and stripped in twos - if you see what I mean. We were just a bit pushed as we were having hay delivered and my dead car being collected but sorted it out with a few phone calls Mike Saunders didn't even stop for lunch so I think he deserves a medal but I do have a very happy daughter - which is good!!!

It was a very good show. Tons and tons of horses/lorrys there, really good turnout.
Agree with the others, I got on my mare at 12.30 to go in a class at 1.30. Didnt get in the ring till about 3.00.
Judge was just lovely to everyone though, very smiley, helpful, encouraging and fair. No I didnt win either........LOL
I would definately go again.
Only thing - the rossetts werent up to much, but then at £5 an entry - who can complain?
Good day and lots of lovely helpful Horse Gossipers there xxx

The day was long but we all had a fantastic time! Welldone Beth for organising such a great show...again. Ten horses went from our yard and we all went home with rosettes, red, blue, yellow and green!! Congratulations Girlies!. Hazel Long and her steward did an efficient job in their ring and a big up to Mr Saunders who even tho my niece wasnt at the top of the line up and it was late in the day, still made a nice comment about her pony being her pride and joy and how well turned out it was and had a smile! Lovepink and Lilly looked fab. Best of all our boy did us proud and so did his rider...happydays!!xxx

We came home with two 3rds, he stood patiently and behaved well in both in hand and his first ever ridden class on grass ( Many thanks K!) I enjoyed the day even if i did provide the comedy moment in ring 2 by getting my leg caught in his in the run up and having a "You been framed" stumble stumble trip incident, i saved myself tho, thank god!!lol xx
