Can you wear a double bridle for this class? the sechedule doesnt say and i cannot remember? Anyone know please?? ;D

Yes i believe you can so long as the show is not ran under nps rules.

yes you can but i find most judges like to see a snaffle in a novice class xxx

Thats great thank you. personally i prefer to see a snaffle in a noive class but were only using the class as a "warm up" the horse is 7yrs and this is his first year is a double so will keep him in it thank you

I did this class a few years ago on a very novice fell. The judge had every horse in a snaffle at the end of the line, and some of these were very nice animals !

We did one a couple of years ago and the Judge commented on how it was nice to see him in a snaffle. He was placed high up.

We were Confined novice champion at the summer champs in 2008, shown in a snaffle as I believe novices should be in novice classes, from memory i think there were a couple in doubles so i think it is allowed that weren't placed but not neccesarily for that reason. If your just using the class as a warm up then show in whichever suits the pony and he's happy in.
