I rang the entries secretary yesterday she was very helpfull the m&ms have big entries 18 in the large class and in the teens for the others even LR/FR have good entries and they are not qualifiers, weatherforecast for Leeds tommorow is rain and more rain at least the ground should be softer than last week.

not sure of the name of the welsh A that won the smalls but it was grey, 2nd was Myd the Maverick
I won the B's and C's with Kirkhamgate Mr Cool and second was Poppy Duncalf with her grey section B
Connie's was the Hungry Hall one of Hollings which was reserve and second was rebecca Bond's Best Man
Not sure of the D but it was Chestnut with a white face (possibly something Oscar) not sure and took champion and second was Manning's Fell something Jacko.
Im useless at names as you can see

Buckaroo i dint watch the connie class so dont know but she dropped the B that was called in first out of the ribbons when it wrong legged it, however the champion raised a few eyebrows but at the end of the day she was the judge and her opinion is what counts.

well if she dropped the wrong leg, then surely a buck or hump should be more severly dealt with, so must have wanted the second to qualify so much===== where is ayery/patrick judging?
by the way i had nothing in the classes

Why ask if the first 2 connies bucked and then after no one has answered, go on to make silly comments about people ?

What happened to the Sec B that was pulled top. Looked like a lovely pony but I did not see the the shows. Someone said it wrong legged it but wasn't sure. If so was that all it did as it seemed quite harsh to go from top to nowhere.

Julie B that is what i was getting at if madam judge "dropped the first sec b for a wrong leg"what should have happened to ponies that either bucked or humped?
but i was shot down in flames !!!

I watched most of the classes and the judging seemed okay as far as I can remember no one bucked in the connie class the third pony struck off on the wrong leg but there was no major upsets , my friend was stripping a pony in the line up and she had no compliants . I don't think section d was the one Charlene Richardson used to own , might be wrong but the jockey was older than the girl who usually rides him.

Forgot to say well done Nat with Mr Cool my money was on you being CHP but I'm sure you were pleased with your result had you already qualified ?

the cob wasn't the pony Charlene used to own. Think it was a mare.

i road in the connie class and was second my did not buck or hump or do anything of that variety he backed off slightly on his extension but no more than the first pony. the first pony is renound for having a buck and a squeel and lost alot of places last year because of this. but the pony has imporved over winter and after alot of hard work from penny i assume, and is going alot better.
i feel that who ever raised the issue about ponies buking or humping in the connie class is just trying to cause un-necessary banter.

Did any one else notice that the large int riding type was held up while a well known producer competed in the Riding horse championship... the horse he was riding was entered in the int large riding type and would of missed its class had the ISRT's followed straight on ....not condoning the producer from asking to hold up the ring (we all would ask the commitee to do so if we were in the same boat !!!)...but am sure they would not have held up the ring for me !!! The rain was pelting down and all the other competitors were ready to go in and getting very cold and wet .....just thought the commitee were bit unfair on rest of competitors

Unfortunately classes do clash, and when we can help we will. Hope you all had a good day, sorry we could not book sunshine for the whole day, but we dit'nt do bad... thanks to you all....

I was in the Riding Horse Championship - don't think there was anything dodgy about delaying the SRT for the Hollings. In fact, they were swapping jockeys as they didn't know which class would be in first! It isn't as if they entered two classes knowing they were going to clash - they just got lucky and got into the championship!
Super show as always - many thanks to the organisers.
