um, cowboy magic?! Works on your horse as well as your jods! oh, just remembered a friend of mine swears by vanish, never tried it myself though and it might not be suitable on your mare if she's quite sensitive.

I once made a mixture of Oxy action powder and water and it worked a treat! We also use lemon fairy liquid and put on chalk whilst legs are wet and it goes into a paste. Hope this helps

DAZ is great if you let the sun at it, as it contains a photo bleach that whitens with sunlight, so if you have a bad stain on you cloths, provided you have direct sun on it, the stain disappers.

Recommend Cowboy Magic Green Spot remover, absolutely brilliant! We show three greys and this stuff saves our bacon on numerous occasions!!! its the first thing that goes into our lorry on show days

Hot water and vinegar ...if this doesnt work the stain is permenant ....my conni has similar stain and i used hot water and vinegar and cowboy magic yellow remover daily for a week and the stain faded eventually ! Failing that plaster it with chalk paste !

Please take care using abrasive substances on your pony's bodies. I have used vanish, etc but only on the tail. I would be very wary about using anything on a horse's body that you wouldn't use on your own!

I used curtain net whitener on my pony's tail, overdid it and her tail started falling out in clumps. I was mortified...........

For white legs I use the designer browbands powder which I mix into a paste and I paint it ons, bandage and voila unbandage at show all lovley and white. I agree with the comments re Vanish, I use it but just a half scoop in warm water lift the dirt then rinse and shampoo then rinse thoroughly again.

Have used Vanish on legs as well as tail. Only occasionally but it did the job with some particularly stubborn sh*t stains!

On the back of the cowboy magic bottle it says to try hot water and vinegar if the cowboy magic doesnt work ! Good luck !
