Lets just say that we just about managed to trot a figure of eight for the whole show, with the whole ringside click clicking to get the pony to go faster. It was a show for kids under 11 years, and was a real good starter, he also did young handler, best turned out and that sort of stuff so came home with rosettes and sweets, and thoroughly pleased with himself.

Thanks all for your lovely comments. My older son did workers on him at church farm on the saturday - he was 3rd iin the Novice, it was his first ever track (pony not child). He ran out of steam a bit in the open, so didn't get round, but seems to love his jumping!! He's fantastic we are all so pleased with him, but he has mainly been bought with the intention of getting my very nervous 9 year old back into the ring. (he retired at the age of 7 you see)
Hi also to Debbie, lovely to meet you and your fab dartie, with nail biting dad in tow!! He's a lovely stamp of a dartmoor.
If I get very adventurous I will post his worker picture on here too!

Lovely pony & well done We were going to go to this show but my main pony is just recovering from a virus & had hoped to take the baby instead. However she only came back from being schooled on Saturday & just wasn't ready. Was it at Church Farm?

Hi yes the workers were at Church farm, and the minis show was Warren farm, he was a star and extremely well behaved with both children. We are hopefully going to jump him round again this Sunday, as he will need a few more miles on his clock if we want to take him to winter champs.

Yes that's the one at Warren Farm. Silly me Missed it last year due to no transport & this year due to no decent pony! Hopefully will get there next year with a baby with a few more miles on the clock & the regular pony we use. Good luck with your next outing

Thanks all for your positive feedback, we are off to try some open small breeds on Sunday with older son, so should be fun!!!! I have realised today that I have 3 weeks now to get him in shape for Winter Champs, where does the time go?
