3 years ago we bought a derelict farm and it looked like this. we decided to build our own stables. Not content with building the stables we decided to do our own school this is Cushion Ride Mountains. This is the finished article, 3 years of hard graft and no holidays have gone in to this. We approached several company's this complex would have cost us the minimum of about £120,000, and we have managed to build it for just over £12,000, so it justs goes to show is all you need to poofs and some power tools. We have put this on here because we think its pretty special and it just goes to show what you can do when you put your mind to it.

HP I think you two are pretty special, it also took courage, vision and commitment from the two of you to get this far and what an achievement it is. You should be proud of yourselves.

You have to have a bit of bling Spot you want to see the hanging baskets they have solar powered lanterns in them so they light up at night they are so camp, the OH's younger brother is building me two brick planters at th main gate entrance and I've got Pink pampas to go there. unfortunatly they broke the mould when they made us Try I have to say I'm very lucky OH did most of the work I was more the Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen and all the family played a huge part. Have PM'd you pipsqueek.

not really we bought at auction it was a derelict county farm it came with a 3 bed farmhouse which was in a pretty bad state, the kitchen only had a sink which was on the floor no units no central heating most of the plaster had fallen off the walls and the bathroom had no roof but apart from that it was structurally sound and it stands in 5acres, so if the weather is bad we do stuff to the house and during the winter when no showing and on nice days we do outside jobs the only thing left to do to the house is put a extension on for me and OH as we live in a mobile home in the garden. but if we went to buy it know we could not afford it as it has trebled in price to what we paid for it, that was the idea of buy something that needed a lot of work.

A huge well done.
It just shows what can be achieved with a bit of effort. You must be feeling very pleased and proud and rightly so.
