That has been being said for some years now.
They re-built Wembley...........
However, there are other London/UK stadiums which are doing very well. Time will tell.

To be honest, I think we would've heard something by now if these rumors were true? XX

As shsstablemanager says, they have been saying for years that Olympia is going to be knocked down - I'm sure at one point we didn't know whether it would end up happening before Wembley was rebuilt and HOYS has been taking place in Birmingham for a few years now.

The following is from the Fulham Chronicle dated 19th October 2010:
"Olympia is to be given a £20 million overhaul which will include a complete rebuild of its West Hall and a new restaurant in a historic Victorian wing.
Owner Capital and Counties will begin work early next year after planning permission for alterations to the exhibition centre was granted by Hammersmith and Fulham Council last week (13).
The plans include demolishing and replacing the existing West Hall, doubling its size by adding an extra floor and allowing it to link into larger exhibition areas or be used independently, and featuring a new bronze and glass entrance in Blythe Road.
The restaurant will be open to all and will be created in the restored Pillar Hall, which dates from 1886 and is among the oldest parts of the building. Above it will be offices in a new mezzanine level.
Capital and Counties is also developing a master plan for thousands of new homes and offices on the nearby Earls Court site, which would be demolished, and surrounding land including the West Kensington and Gibbs Green housing estates.
Gary Yardley, investment director at Capital and Counties, said: "We are committed to ensuring that Olympia maintains its position as a world class venue. The approval for our redevelopment plans will provide us with the opportunity to intensify operations at Olympia once the works are completed.
"This project is part of our overall strategy to unlock latent value through the delivery of our plans to regenerate our Earls Court and Olympia estate."
Last year the most-attended show at Olympia was Erotica, an adult-themed exhibition in November, which drew in 25,000 visitors on one day – far more than the next most popular event, the Horse of the Year show, which drew a daily crowd of 14,500."
You have to see the funny side, I just wonder if anyone told the BSPS before they handed over that vast sum of money? Or is there a clue in the Erotica paragraph as to the new BSPS marking system?

I am guessing they don't mean Horse fo the Year Show as that is far better attended and is at the NEC Birmingham but can it be true that the show we know as Olympia will next year be at Wembley - that would be fantastic?
Was vast sum of money did the BSPS hand over - am I out of the loop on this one?

roxygirl123ღ(: apparently Olympia isalot more about entertainment than actually the horses. If u've been to a hoys evening preformance there's lots of extra entertaining extras like Fredrick pigeon and the knights ect. Well Olympia is like that tripled! So if ur ur into that stuff it's great but stuff like that bores me after a while:L it could be worth going for the m&m day butnotsure:/
