This is my daughter's pony. We didn't buy him to show we bought him as an all round pc type pony for her.
But we are both missing showing and want to get back to it.
Thing is we don't know what class he would fit into.
He was 14.1 a few months ago but is still growing so if he doesnt measure out for 14.2 classes now I think he will soon.
He is a registered D. As far as I can see his general conformation is good but he is far too lightweight to hold his own in against the other welsh D's. He is just not 'typey' enough.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

why dont you trim him up and do novice 15hands workers?

Does your daughter and the pony like their jumping? I would reccomend taking off his feathers, pulling his mane and tail, plaiting him up and doing the 15hh workers

They do like jumping - I am a bag of nerves when they jump though!! I would much prefer her to do a 'flat' class. Otherwise my intake of wine on evenings after shows might significantly increased If workers is what he is best suited to then thats it will be. He is only 4 so still a bit spooky with new obstacles. We will have to do lots of practicing. Her tweed has a velvet collar. Would we need a new tweed without velvet if she was doing workers?

If he doesn't have too much knee action, show hunter.... He is nice. Or workers like other people have said. Good luck :-)
