The Question is to Split the Classes or not
What do people think? I am planning a show for June
Last year held seperate Glyn Greenwood large and small breeds Inhand Qualifiers
Do people prefer to compete M&M mixed breeds Inhand 1,2,3yr & an Inhand mixed breeds M&M 4yrs +.
Not sure I would dare to hold all 4 classes (split large and small, youngstock and adult...) we only had 4 and 7 horses in the 2 sections last year.
Does anybody have any experience of how this effects entries?
Competitors and Organisers your opinion would be appreciated.

Could you not run 2 classes, all youngstock and all adults with the highest placed small and large in each class qualifying but also say that the class would be split if enough entries?

We do them as small younstock large youngstock and then the same for 4+ but entries are never fabulous for some reason in Devon and Cornwall. I would not enter my yearling in the youngstock this way as think they look silly up against 3 year olds so tend to do wpcs and nps as they offer yearling classes
