We're having a lovely day. Our 5 year old highland, Rhinnspoint Dolumnhull Hendie, won his class and went on to take NCPA Reg M and M Champion and to top it off he went on to take the In Hand Supreme!! Also we had 3 people approaching us to ask if he was possibly for sale! Thank you to the NCPA for holding such a lovely show and all their hard work. it's been a lovely day.

Yes think the management team were caught out with the number of entries made on the day.
Then to make things dangerous a well known producer parked their wagon at the side of the entrance/exit making it very dangerous for horses entering and exiting the indoor area. If us mear mortals had parked there we would have been told to move on.

Congratulations Hayley and Rochedo Beach Bounty for winning both in hand and ridden he looked a picture today - he certainly is something to be very proud of.
Very pleased with our boy Murthwaite Windrush (Windy) for doing us proud, winning the NPS Silver Medal M & M in hand championship and standing reserve supreme In hand on only his second outing with us. ;D

thanks to all the NCPA team for a great day. Not our day today unfortunaltly but hey ho plenty more shows this year! Didnt stay for my last class as it was 4.30 and still 5 classes to go, running v late in some rings and didnt fancy being there untill midnight. Having said that i think the NCPA team have done a great job, very well supported. Well done to them all. Looking forward to hearing results from the evening performance x

Well done Janet and team, your show was very well organized. The classes were much bigger than anticipated, so it goes without saying people had to wait around a little longer, and that the working in was busy. The fact that within 1 minute of parking up we were asked to move for health and safety reasons, I find it hard to believe that someone could park in a place that would cause a hazard and not be asked to move regardless of who they were.

we also didnt stay for our final class. we left at 5.30 and they were on class 21 as we were loading so anouther 10 classes untill ours! I recon they will e there untill midnight easily.
My Baby coloured excelled himself today, not the judges cup of tea apparently but he behaved perfectly all day and the evening before!

keyhole the reason why the well known producer parked there was the lorry was too big to put anywhere else and I attended today and didnt think it was causing any danger whatsoever

lisa you obviously didnt nearly get kicked several times walking down the ally it created perticularly with horses spooking at it. The indoor warm up at southview is always chaotic with people standing in door ways, riding kickers without a ribbon, riding too close etc the entrance is always the most dangerous part. By parking the lorry there it restricted the room which you had to get out of the way.
Anyway I have absolutly no complaints about the day itself, I had fun, It was well organised and the NCPA team were very helpful.i have a few suggestions that would improoveit for next time though.

Nps ridden champion was Katherine Bowling Reserve ridden champion my baby Dartmoor stallion Rochedo Beach Bounty/Hayley Reynolds on only his 3rd outing under saddle, very pleased with him winning his in hand and ridden classes and reserve champ. Well done to the Crane family with the stunning Murthwaite Windrush for winning the silver medal. There was the odd 'interesting' result at times but overall a fab show well done to everyone, very late finish due to how well supported the show was. The working in was abit 'hairy', but this is always a problem at South view shows. Maybe a two day show next time or a bigger venue? Lots of different qualifiers were on offer today and everyone certainly turned out in force!! Well done Janet and team, what a success!!
