All of these people showed when they were younger, where are they now?
Anna Evans Amy Searby Annabel & Sally Makin Viv & Nina Lusby James Bonham James & Pippa Lees Will Walker Lisa & Louise Gibson Becky Smith Laura Feeley JP & Fran Gulliambert Alexandra Grant Chris Ryder-Phillips Melanie & Natalie Packham To name a few.....
People often ask whats happened to old ponies just thought it might be interesting to find out what happened to the riders! Please nothing derogatory or too personal!

Last time I saw Francoise, she was working with her Dad in the office of their Horsebox building company, she was taking a break from riding, to enjoy a normal life!

I don't think James Bonham is still competing or really riding much. Sophie his younger sister is and has been doing a lot of hunting over winter with a new grey mare. Lovely family

What about Emma-Jane Du Jardin and her sister Charlotte?

Charlotte dujardin produces a few ponies now and does very well. She has a lovely 13shp. I think one of the Makin girls does or did very well in dressage and JP I am sure was training to be a jockey x

I saw Melanie Packham showing some Welshies in-hand last year.
Does anyone remember Hayden & Hayley Hanky? Their names always made me smile.

James Bonham is very friendly with Team Quiney still and was an usher at Sam & Julians wedding in 2005.

JP Guillambert is a flat jockey. Also Alistair Crow was a very successful point to point jockey

Laura Richardson had wonderful timing in the ring and was a demon in a Championship. Not sure that we've seen as good as her since.

I agree, Laura was an excellent show rider, so were the Bale sisters Georgia and Emma, their partnership with Coveham Fascination was spectacular.

I slightly disagree, Laura's partnership in dressage with Millenium was beautiful, she is very good at what she does in the dressage arena. But that comes from learning "showmanship" from a very early age.
Georgia Bale has been and still is eventing, her worker Man in the Moon went to Badminton & Burghley on serveral occasions and she now has some very smart young horses coming up through Novice and Intermediate again. Emma is a happy mum and owner of one of Georgia's horse's!
