Yes without a doubt, we did NPS champs for the first time last year, such a great atmosphere, really friendly stewards and in the secretarys 'tent'. Also absolute top competition too. We're going back this year and I'm excited already

I think we are heading down there for the first time this year as well. Should be fun, I've heard nothing but good so far!

Give it ago. You will never know unless you go and see. If you do not have a good time then you do not have to go again. If you do then no harm done

We are going for our 3rd yr, we love it, so much more relaxed and friendly than others, agree that competition is great and high standard. Kids love it and got the Junior ring again this year. Give it a go like cts said.

I agree. We go every year and love it...I'm excited already too! Everybody is friendly and it is much more prestigious than puk and less like "butlins" too.

If you only go to one Championship show, make it NPS at Malvern

We are going for the first time as well this year - heard nothing but good reports last year so thought would give it a try. We always go to PUK as a big group but going to nps on our own so a bit daunting. Any tips for amking it a good show eg lack of things, things needing to take which will make life easier. etc

If you have been to PUK and survived, you will easily enjoy NPS. Everthing is nearer and friendlier.

Last time we went was a few years ago and we vowed we would never go again. People have told us that things have changed and there seems to be a sense of change posted on here. So we have bit the bullet and sent entries this year. We will let you know what we think whens its all over.

Just need a bit of advice, looking at the schedule, there are in fact 8 classes that my daughter can do on the the first day (welsh B) we need to thin these down, jusat wondered if she would be better doing the junior classes and just one or two of the opens on that day. Are the junior classes well filled are they good classes to watch.
Advice would be greatly appreciated

the junior classes are only £5 i think and are great value, if you do any champ show you must do NPS it is wonderful and the people that run it are approchable and so helpful, its a top show.

Could anyone tell me if there is a shop at the NPS Champs like at PUK where you can buy bread, milk etc. Just trying to get prepared. I cannot wait to go counting down the weeks. With ponies uk I know it like the back of my hand but we have never been to the nps before so excuse me if I post stupid questiuons like this.

Skint, if you run short of eggs/bread/milk you'll have to let me know as I only live 4 miles away and will be there on 1st and 3rd day!!!! Perhaps I should put out a card.....
To anyone who hasnt been - it really is worth going to, great setting and if you look at last year's comments you'll see the majority had a good time.
We are taking our Sec B novice so now need to teach it to canter on the right legs.....!

Julie dont make those offers you will have the whole tribe of us coming for showers and bacon and eggs every morning. Only joking. You may know of some nice cheap pubs which do evening meals nearby which will save me cooking every night though. Hope we can meet up for a natter I seem to know so much about you it would be nice to meet and put a face to the name. You cannot help notice me I will be the harrassed overweight mum screaming at her Kevin the teenager daughter and dun pony

As duns are my favorite I am sure to spot you! Daughter keeps asking me if we can stay overnight - and we have an old day living lorry! Silly child....my own bed please, even if it includes the snoring husband! We'll be there with a novice SP, novice sec B and possibly (hopefully!) another A belonging to Fetherston .....
