Was wondering where the favourite place for buying a hacking jacket is these days. Can you add names of makers and I'll put up a poll later for people to vote. Pretty Ponies Mrs Candy Showing Selection Alexander James Mears

I know it won't be the most popular by a long way but i have a Caldene jacket which I absolutely love. So do, it is great, well cut, lovely colour and fits me really well, I am broad shouldered and have found that the "showing people's jackets" are cut for those lovely slender arm's and shoulders and mine just arn't that this is my third one, and am constantly asked what make it is, you should see their faces when I say it's caldene!

i have always wore pretty ponies blue navy show pony jackets, and i have previously wore the Bernard weatheralls which sit beautifully around the saddle but i have to say i do prefer the pretty ponies one. And recently i have also seen the most beautiful tweed for a shp at alexander james.

I love the plain simple herringbone Tweed from Mears, i will be purchasing another for my little boy soon.
I have looked at all the green tweeds with the colours going through and some others but find the simple style if you have a flash enough pony, look better.
He will have a brown velvet hat and ox blood boots and compete in m & m in 2008.
Im not a fan of over dressing riders i think alot of it is to detract the attention away from the pony and if you have a nice enough pony you shouldnt need to do that
