Ohh Wow... I've had a mini Shetland She was really cute. (sadly no more ) She was like "MY Little Pony" she would stand for hours and let you groom her. it was like having a Barbie doll all over again Don't worry about travelling Mine alsonever travelled.. to be honest it had never left the farm it was born. The hardest part was trying to get her into the wagon. It took five of us to pick her up and carry her into it Good luck.. hope you have plenty of fun.... (i'm sure you will)

oh lolly what have you done. i tried to bribe my youngest with one she refused to ride our lovely lead rein so bought her one.BIG MISTAKE the little sod went wherever he wanted when ever he had his own little field but no he wanted to be in with the 17hh so destroyed every fence possible. dont use electric fence either they just walk through it & travelling well put it in a trunk with a lock on might stay where its supposed to then. but please enjoy your pony

Well Saturday morning came, couldnt sleep was awake from 4 ock, and off we went. When we arrived he was in a field full of minies, but was separate from the herd as the stallion had been bullying him and wouldnt let him near the mares. He winnied when he saw us and hobbled to the gate, yes hobbled, of course he had not been lame the day before, the lady said, . Did we leave him there of course not !!! we paid for him and put him in the trailor. The people we bought him off did seem genuine and were nice. Vet dutifully rang this morning to come and inspect dodgy leg, will keep informed and take some pics. He is like a little dog, so tiny and spent sunday in our front garden, in the kitchen and had his first polo. He has no idea on hard feed or titbits, but does love cuddles. I am hooked totally on minitures and could quiet take to another at some point. Now I am at work, sneaking on horse gossip when I really want to be at home cuddling and making sure he is fine. Just another four legged friend to worry about

Oh and just to add, our paddock backs on to the garden of a house, the people yesterday came out and congratulated me on the new birth!!!!!! They thought my traditional mare had given birth during the night, to which my daughter just gave me the look and said, told you she was too fat!! Did laugh though after
