all i look for in a tack shop is good products at the right price, there's nothing worse than buying what you think is good quality items and then they break or look horrible, i bought a pair of top quality riding boots from a well known shop and within 6 mths the colour had come out of the leather and they looked green....i payed 450.00 for these boots and the shop basically said its not there problem, these boots were only used a max of twice a month on show days and then only when i was in the ring.... i hate shopping from this store now as its not the only thing ive bought that i class as a seconds.... my clippers broke within 12mths and again not there problem but its handy for me..... now i only buy from there things i dont class as essential items.... the price is very important to me as ive not got spare money in the bank ... a good range of items is also a must not just one name..... i would travel for a shop like this, as i think i work hard for my horses so when i buy things for them or me i expect a quality item that will last xx

Echo the above, decent quality items at a reasonable price. Oh and a decent sized range of products

*Good quality products, *Reasonable, competitive prices *A good variety of product and brands a range from economy right through to the real top end *Friendly, helpful staff with excellent customer service- this is the MOST important for me as if the otherboxes are ticked but I don't like the people I won't go. It really helps if the people in the tack/ feed shop actually own a horse..
My husband has this type of business, and we have 2 horses, it really helps, he sells wormers and has to go thought some rigorous training and exams to do that..
It's all well and good going to a lovely shop, but if they don't have staff that know what your on about, it's a problem..
We at Eureka all have horses, so can give the best advice on feed, wormers, bedding, tack etc... We pride ourselves on being able to help, what ever the query, we will endeavour to help..
We have a huge range of feed and can give advice on weight gain, condition etc..
If we don't have something, then we will go all out to get it for you.. It's so nice to speak to customers and catch up with how they are getting on, often they will bring photos to show us, which is fab!!!
So we try to be smiley & happy and helful !!!!
I don't think you can ask for more than that really ....
