Registered British Sports Horse for sale. Approx 16hh TB X ID mare, rising 9, but very low mileage. Sired by Deltic who’s grand sire was Northern Dancer and out of Fire Opal who was sired by Kuwait Beach. Bred to event not to race and was left virtually untouched until the age of 6 when I bought her and had her broken. Ridden away and turned away for the winter the first year I had her, and unfortunately due to a back problem (me- NOT her) she has only been worked irregularly since, so will need bringing back into work. Much loved member of the family and this has been no easy decision , but she needs to be out there doing ANYTHING other than being a glorified field ornament. She has a large scar on her quarters form an accident as a two year old. It does not in any way interfere with her way of going, but it does make her unsuitable for showing. Very good to hack, on her own or in company, but need further schooling. Easy to lunge and long rein, and has jumped on the lunge. Good with farrier, although she doesn’t think much of the vet! Fully vaccinated and micro chipped. Teeth and back checked regularly. I have only travelled her twice but she loaded ok both times into a trailer. Ideal for someone wanting something to bring on for themselves or for re-sale. Super temperament, turned out with mares and geldings. Sold from field, but will lunge or long rein if you want to see her moving. WHY? ??

Hi I have a 13.1 red roan mare that I am about to put up for sale. She would make a nice working hunter pony. 6 years old she jumps fantastic and her flat work is excellent. Both my daughters are too old to ride her in suitable classes. My oldest daughter has been schooling her over the summer and she is going lovely. She is up-to-date with injections, worming, teeth etc. I'm looking for something for my daughter to bring on for eventing, she is currently competing novice BE with her 14.2 so ideally something to work with over next few months with the aim to compete in the summer alongside her pony, if you are interested give me a call 07932046376 sarah x
