Can anyone recommend casual boots i.e. Dubarry type boots to fit a larger calf? I really like the Ariat Windermeres but they only fit my legs without trousers/jeans on soooo has anyone got any recommendations?

Fuller fillies do a country boot with a wide calf, not seen them in the flesh though.

Try Dublin Pinicale boots, I have very short legs, with a wide calf and these are the only boots I have tried that fit over my jeans to, and equestrian clearence have them on special offer at the minute for about £40 cheaper than I paid at my local saddlers (grrrrrr).

I've got Rydales. £85 offer. They are quite wide around the calf. I'm pleased with them. Can get jeans tucked inside.

Oh dear! What did you do to them Jade? My Rydale's have zips up the side. Makes for easier putting on.

I've got short stumpy legs (and wee feet) and I've got the Tuffa Suffolks - I really like them and will definitely get another pair when these ones are worn out. I have got them REALLY dirty and not cleaned them for weeks at a time, but they still buff up well.

Try the Outdoor Boot Company. They are fabulous boots and come in different widths for chunky legs!! They are made by Tuffa, so I guess they are the same or similar to the Tuffa Suffolk ones but a tad cheaper if you want the broader ones. They do come up big, size wise.

Does anyone know of a saddlery/store selling Treadstone riding boots? I've had a pair for years that I used for exercise & round the yard and they do wider calves, but mine have finally worn out and I'm struggling to find a stockist.
