Yes, I have a saddle of this make and made by this lady. It came with a pony we bought but we didn't use it as it was too large for my daughter. It was beautifully made and the leather was of excellent quality, it was already softening nicely despite being little used. I have never seen another one. I lent it to a friend who is delighted with it. I think you will be safe with your purchase from a quality point of view.

I received my Shettie Show Pad from Amanda yesterday, (I know it's a pad not a saddle... ) BUT it's absolutely beautiful!! I am so pleased with it - gorgeous really excellent quality leather and suede, and extremely well made. ;D It was made to measure, and Amanda was very helpful and understanding. If I ever need a saddle, I would not hesitate to contact her first!

What kind of price is the show pad cholderton? A friend is thinking about getting one of these, but not sure if she could justify the expense....a crupper on existing saddle may be better, lol! She's not doing any showing with this pony, just giving her 2 year old daughter some fab experience of riding...incl canter - saintly pony!

The pad is £185, and well worth every penny!
