At some point between 8pm and 7am on Friday night/saturday morning (23rd/24th Sept) thieves broke in to our tack room and have helped themselves to a huge amount of stuff.
Luckily all tack was totally inaccessible (though they had tried) but they have more or less taken everything else.
Rugs, wellies, horse feed, bags of wood pellets, supplements, leather head collars, polypads, mucking out tools, etc, etc, etc. I will put a more detailed list on later but for the moment wanted to warn people in the area. They even went to the extent of opening the washing machine and stealing the stuff from that - along with a huge box of washing powder!!
The police have been informed and have managed to get some extremely good finger prints from where they have broken in.
These people definitely knew what they were doing and what they were coming for - the route that they used to remove the items allowed them to get away without setting off any security lights!
Please be aware and try to lock everything up as best as is possible!
