I know this has been done over and over again! Did try to find original thread to add to but couldnt see it, but that probably due to the fact i cant see anything other than red right now GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Manners cost nothing.
Why oh why does everything have to be so complicated? To me its simple...... Place horse in nice home with nice people and in return they get a fabulous horse at a third of his value, everyone is happy, they get a bargain and i have peace of mind!

I have had two lovely filly foals for sale and I have had some very strange enquiries! I am beginning to think one in particular was just acting out a bit of a personal fantasy about buying a pony. Four or five different stories later I gave up and them to it :-))))) I think it is one of the downsides of the internet, it does seem to encourage horsey 'tyre kickers' I think they feel you'll never know who they really are so they can string you along.

Oh dear Icarus, hard luck. I'm afraid I have got a bit tougher now. I am still very polite but don't run around after them any more. Genuine people get in their cars, come and look and make a grownup decision I find. I never consider a pony sold until the money is paid, the pony is loaded and I am waving them off down the lane. Hope things pick up for you.

Its been a tough learning curve, like you dawn im finding people have to prove themselves now, put their money where their mouth is so to speak. Its a bizarre pastime timewasting but seems to be on the increase....

Unfortunately it can be the same for buyers too. I'm searching for a happy hacker first r idden pony! I've been to look at ponies advertised as 11.2 only to see the pony is a shetland or a 14.2 arab! I've been offered a 15hh Fresian stallion, a 5 month old colt foal right down to a cune cune piglet! People!!!!!! lol, I hope you find a genuine buyer, and I, an honest seller!

There is hope out there...I am both a genuine buyer and seller, both jobs I find very very stressful and so I try and make the whole situation as easy as possible. As I do not buy/sell very often it is quite an emotional time for me so as far as I am concerned time wasters are cruel/selfish idiots. Likewise as someone who carted her 5yr old all over the country looking for the perfect pony vendors who lie are also selfish idiots! Please bear in mind though that some of us are selling exactly what we advertise with a lot of tears and heartache to boot!

They came, rode and buggered off. A few weeks later still no polite phone call. Rude so and sos. It's just common courtesy, surely?! I even made a point of telling them that I really didn't mind either way and they promised to phone. Grr that'll teach me!
