No idea about the other classes but in the SFAS cobs it's an error because The Hammerman is owned and ridden by Eli Clarke - so imagine there might be errors in the other start lists too?

If you look, she is the 9th rider in every class - there is obviously an error with the computers at HOYS end! Like I said on the other thread, I hope it is sorted out soon as people are missing out on their chance to have their name in the results!

No - they are for SHOWING amateurs. If they are riding school owners, show jumpers etc that does not count - providing they are not selling, schooling show horses for money. Also, you are allowed to qualify for the open class in the same year you do SFAS.

Any Horse that has qualified for HOYS or RIHS after 1st March 2011, may be accepted for entry to this Competition but the Horse must not have competed at HOYS before being judged in the first round of the Competition at HOYS."

I know that is not completely true - Stan the Man competed in the SFAS cobs and then went on to win the HW cobs the same year at HOYS. I believe Urishkay also competed in both the same year and I am sure there are others.

I don't know if that's still the same or not
