I bought a English leather harness to fit a cob. I was full of ideas that as I can't ride anymore that I would drive instead. so the harness is like new. breast harness with silver horseshoe buckles. it is beautiful----I have been thinking for a while now that I might sell it. can't remember how much I paid for it.---- SO--- could someone tell me what is the going rate for English leather cob size breast harness --is these days??? thanks in advance.

If you have a look on Dragon Driving, it will give you some idea as to its worth second hand, I have bought a few sets of there......dont look at the ponies for sale, very sad.

Who made the harness? That could have a big influence on its value. Good English harness with box keepers can make around £1000 2nd hand - more if it's by someone like John McDonald. Dragon Driving IMO is more a bottom end of the market website however you might try Carriagelink or the BHDTA website. Do you have any photos of it? And a close up of the bridle? Your other option might be to take it to Reading Carriage Sales - Thimbleby & Shoreland have them four times a year and there's one in November.
