Twm, you were my best friend.
You were a cheeky chap, you were always the center of attention, you were always the first to greet me at the gate, you were always the one that made me smile.
You were mine for 5 very happy years, it was unfair that you were taken so early, but it just shows that only the best die young.
I remember the day we bought you, my mum came into the living room after spending the day at Fayre Oaks Sale 2004, and she told us the exiting news. I didnt belive her at first. But obviously she was telling the truth.
I remember visiting you whilst you were being broken to ride with Debbie Thomas, I remember it so clearly.
I remember riding you bareback up and down the field, with not a care in the world.
I remember going to a show, and winning our class, and on the lap of honour you bucked me off and went cantering out the class like you owned the place.
I remember racing bareback on you around the field with my brother on his pony. Of course he always won becuase he didnt care how fast he went.
I remember coming 6th at the Royal Welsh Show and on the lap of honour you bucked me off, but you stayed right by my side, you always did.
You taught me everything I know now. You taught me to ride, to jump, and to become a better rider. You taught me to stay onto bucks and rears and how to show. And most importantly you taught me what love really ment.
Unfortunatley I remember the day I had to say my last goodbye. I remember it like it was yesterday.
You were taken away from us on the 1st of July 2009.
It was so hard making this video, trying to fight back the tears.
Laminitis took your life
It broke my heart when the vet said their was nothing else he could do to save you. The farrier said it was the worst case of Laminitis he had seen through out all of his carrier.
Twm, you will be missed by many. I love you, I will never forget you.
Here's a video I made, please watch it.
