Cant believe that I have just gone and spent £300 on a pair of Dubarrys but am fed up with buying the cheaper imitations to end up with wet feet So fingers crossed the Dubarrys will keep me warm and dry ;D

I had some Toggi Canyon boots and I loved them, they were super comfy. But I bought another pair recently when I had worn the others out, and they're awful. They've changed them and they're really rigid round the ankle, they're very painful to wear!

I have the Mark Todd country boots - they are FAB 100% waterproof, even walking through water that is over the ankle deep, really good grip and super comfy! they have a bit more substance to them than most country type boots, but I have also noticed they don't "bag" round the ankle as much!

I am not happy with toggi boots at the moment. I have sent my columbus boots back for testing as they leaked but in the mean time bought the toggi ontario muck boots to wear while the others were sent away. They split across the front within a week! So they have now gone back also.

Hi, I have a pair of Dublin Pinnacle boots, which are super comfy and are on offer everywhere at moment and I also have some HKM Paris boots which are fab too, but which I can't bear to wear on the yard. Just on the yard I wear Muck Boots Tyne style boots as they are super warm and comfy as well as being waterproof. The other pair that I have only just started using are a pair of Mountain Horse Stellar Polaris Boots that I won in a competition, which seem really warm and waterproof as well as very comfy too. Hope this helps, there is a road test of winter boots in Your Horse Magazine this month too if that helps.

My mum has expressed a like for the Ariat paddock boots Windimere/Windrush/Grassmere boots . She only has little legs, so alot of long boots are too long for her! I noticed people are saying the Ariat Grassmere's are long, are there any good makes that are that bit shorter or at least do models that are? Thank you!

I have the Tuffa Suffolk boots - love them, warm, dry and practical for £159. They do a riding version, too.

www.equestrianclearance.com/ecw_catalogue/liquidation-country-boots/index.html?clearance=1Recognise any of these guys? Missing a certain label that is all.... these are considered seconds (but due to the £300 plus they sell them for they have to be perfect) A stitch out of line or a slight crack in leather and they are taken off the conveyor belt. I feel otherwise they will be just as hard wearing as what they were destined to be :-) If your handy with a pair of scissors and glue and have an older pair to be binned your laughing lol! They get them in at various sizes at various times. You just have to keep an eye open and grab them quick!

I've had two pairs of river boots but both died within a year each so bought Toggi canyon boots, leaked after ONE month so took them back to the shop who swapped them for another pair. They wanted to send them back for testing but I made a fuss and made them swop them as i'd have nothing to put on my feet. So far so good.
