I'd like to know what the height would be for a 14.2 welsh D, thinking of giving workers a go next season with my girl.

You can be a member of BSPS PUK or NPS but if you want to do RI whp qual as well you need to be a member of NPS

Don't forget that the heights will be higher if you are lucky enough to qualify, can't find the rule book at the moment but I'm sure someone here will know they have a discretion to raise the height a certain amount over the normal stated heights at the final I think?

from what NPS says, I have to become a life member to compete in HOYS/RIHS quals, and because im under £18 it will be £1000 !!!! or am I reading wrong? xx b) Rider any age, except stallions (see rules in section A 3.2). Riders may only ride one pony in each class. OWNER needs to be a FULL ADULT MEMBER not a life member. I believe that if you are under 18 you cannot be the registerd owner. The rider can be any age and does not need to be a member untless they qualifyand wish to compete at the final. Also the pony does NOT need to be registered with the NPS. Please see below extract from rules for RIHS M&M workers. Hope this helps. c) The owner has to be a Full member of the NPS for the pony to enter this competition. The rider must show the owner’s membership card to the steward as the pony enters the ring (see section A 1.3 a)) (N.B. At the final at Hickstead the rider must also be an NPS member)

I think if you joing with NPS you will have to join as a junior member and your mum join as a full member. Thats what we ended up doing when I was under 18.
