depends what classes you are doing but 3/4inc isnt thick. i would have a 3/4inc bridle with a nice 3/4- 1inch raised nose band  hope this helps |

I do like a wide hunter nose band. Maybe try using brown webbing or material cut to width and tied over her current nose band, stand back and have a look to see what you think. It might be easier for us to say by seeing a photo of her in her current nose band x
