We currently have a saddle on trial from The Native Pony Saddle Company - does anyone else use one? If so which model/style do you have & what disciplines do you use it for? We have the M&M GP but I'm not sure whether it would look ok for flat showing (need it for hacking & WH aswell) - I'm used to straight cut show saddles so it's taking a while to get used to the 'look' of the 'forward cut' saddle flap

the fen sh- used on a very wide 13.2 sec B. used everyday but the pony does workers and SJ. It's straight cut so suited to flat showing

We've got two of the old type which seem to fit most A's. We were disappointed with the newer version as they have changed the tree and the stich quality doesn't look as good.

Doodah, we tried the Fen SH but the pony really didn't like it - he never even managed a circuit of the school! The other problem with it was the seat size, pony & rider need 16.5-17" but the Fen only goes up to 16".
Suede - to be honest I haven't studied the stitching etc as we just need to find a saddle that fits, this will be the 3rd saddle in 6 months!

suede complately agree, i have the old style fen about 9 years old now i think and its the best saddle i ever had, went to try and get one for my D stallion and just not the same anymore. I ended up getting a saddler to make one as close to my old fen as possible and i love it! (Cheaper to!!!)

I have a Glen too. We looked for ages for a new one I live not far from Peter Wilkies (Fylde) and tried many of these but just felt they were not right for my boy. Have had the Glen for about 3 yrs now and am really happy with it. I only do flat work showing.
