Did anyone else find the judging of the M&M's bemusing? When the person who is pulled in third is moaning that she does not deserve to be there because her pony has behaved badly and the winner and eventual Champion has arrived late for the class and then shied at everything it makes you wonder just what the judge is looking for. A different judge for the Side Saddle also seemed to have the same criteria for judging. Are standards slipping?

Agree with the M&M; couldn't follow the run out at the end of the shows, but from what I saw in the side saddle class most of the horses shied and behaved badly but the riders at the top were riding straight and not hanging off to the left!!!

It seems that manners do not matter at all now and I wonder why as it always had meeting no matter what you were showing in but not anymore.

I agree about the judging its a shame because small agricultural shows need supporting to keep them going but if you can't get judges who know what there doing you are not going to spend the time and money entering! As for the one who won the large m&ms it even went the wrong way round on both occasions for the the lap of honour!! What a joke! As for the side saddle apparently the winner sponsored the class- so if you want to win next year sponsor the class!!!!!
