Hi Everyone, Could anyone give me some advice my pony is getting abit of a winter coat he has had a summer coat since march and now his winter coat is coming he is rugged up is there anythink eles i can do  |

I found for my highland mare, when she began to get her winter coat that bathing her in warm water, about 1ce every 2 weeks, not only kept her clean but also prevented the coat from growing as thick...... also if you get a lycra body hood and rug, then put a cooler on and another layer that tends to help keep the coat thinner. As the weather gets colder, add another rug!
