Two questions please:-
An elasticated bungee that runs from the saddle area, up through the bit and over the poll - should these be used only for lungeing in or can you ride in them?
Should they be secured from the girth or the 'D' rings of your saddle?
NB - I only intend to use one once the pony has thorougly warmed up and is working through from behind.
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Hiya,
I use my bungee both ways- I lunge in it and ride in it.
When i lunge i have the bungee over the head, through the bit and attach it either to the sides of a roller or where the girth staps are i find that this way when lunging keeps the pony balanced and stops them falling out.
And when ride i attach the bungee between the front legs either on to the girth or just add a lope of baling tweed on the girth cos sometimes the bungee is hard to clip on the girth cos its thick.
They are a good training aid and are very versitile. Hope this helps you xx
