Hi everyone.
Im struggling about what to wear for my shows.
Ive added a photo of my horse and were going to be doing things like local and country level showing.
Can people advise on what to wear, jacket, boots, etcetc

how big is your horse and how old are you?? What classes were you thinking of doing?? xx

Im 18, and hes 14.2
We havent really decided on classes as im not really sure what to enter him to so any advice would be handy?
Im unsure on a tweed or navy jacket?

At local level it doesn't matter too much as long as you're smart and tidy. At county level it really depends on the class you are doing, ie for SHP, WHP you would want a tweed but for show pony/hack etc you would need navy. You would need to look carefully at the age groups for the classes you want to do.
Does he have any arab blood? PBA classes might be an option.
There are some things that don't change, e.g. a navy hat with a flesh coloured harness, brown gloves, long boots are always black and short boots are always brown. Canary/corn or beige jods/breeches.

Ah thank you! We are probably going to be doing the show pony/hack classes. Yeh he does have arab blood but you may have seen my previous post about how we cant prove he has arab blood because we dont have his papers and ahs have said dna isnt an option because i dont know his sire or dam. So were going to be doing any other classes he can do excluding the arab ones which is a shame because he is stunning!
