I have a 510. I would have a 511 (have looked at it) but can't justify the additional expense (they are petty heafty £ wise if you have the options I want) as my 510 is barn kept so immaculate.
If I were to buy a 511, I would go for the one with the barn doors, very very handy.
I believe there were some teething problems - I heard some talk of fungi growing on the roof, but that has all been addressed now.

I have the 505. It's probably about 10 years old now and we've had it from new. We've never had a moments trouble with it and it still scrubs up well. We considered upgrading to a 506 last year but after looking into it we decided to stick with what we knew. We heard of the fungi problems which meant those models were recalled. We had a look at some of them as well and my Dad, very knowledgable about cars, trailers etc said they "weren't made like the old ones" and his opinion was that they won't fair as well over time.
Do they still have the collapsable safety feature like the old ones. Where you can actually take the panels out in case of an emergency? If they don't that would greatly influence my decision. Although, I'm sure they do.
My friend had a 511 and some of the catches in my opinion did seem a bit flimsy in comparison to ours. They are very nice though. And if they do last as well as the older Ifor's they are well worth the money.

Love my 511. I got mine in June 2009 and not had any problems. I think there were teething problems a yr or so previous but they were resolved.
