oh dear what should I do im so fed up with yard im on the bloke who runs it is a total control freak, he stands & watches you muck out & tells you how to fill the wheel barrow, how to wash your boots, how to lead your horse & ride it even though he doesnt ride. If anyone is chatting in the yard he moans at them to get on with their work you get to dread going up trouble is I have 11 horses & its so difficult to find somewhere else with so many im stuck in a rut!!!!!! Im trying to sell some of them but the markets rubbish at the moment. Doing this should be fun and ive tried ignoring him but when you have it every day it gets you down sometimes. He cant even talk to you if he has a problem he shouts & then threatens to kick you off yard im so worried about putting a foot wrong incase he kicks me off. rant over i feel a little better now going to take my frustration out on mucking out now ;-(

I don't know whereabouts you are, but in all of the livery costs it may be better or possibly cheaper for you to rent your own place/field?? Maybe put an advert out asking for some grazing land, or approach some farmers for a barn and land?? You shouldn't feel like this, horses are supposed to be fun!!

maybe try find a field you could turn them away in until you find somewhere better. Its not nice being on a yard where the owner is a bully owning a horse is an expensive 'job' and you need to be happy NOT miserable and scared every time you step foot on your yard. Good luck x

i had similer problems so one sunday i went for a drive around knocking on a few farmers doors...

now i have my own feild with stables soon to be built, farmer is lovely and its very cheap..

just go for a drive one day and see what you can find .. good luck x

Thank you for all your comments ive been driving round knocking on doors and i have found a place for all of them im so happy its a lot further away than i have at the moment but hay its worth it i feel like a massive weight has been liftrd off my shoulders feel really happy & looking froward to moving and the best bit is yet to come telling horrible farmer im going lmao
