Hi, This year i am looking to start a new show in 2012, and i want some things that people think a show needs, what makes you go to a show. It is to encourage amateurs and therefore will be affiliating to the following societies Equifest The Amateur Showing Society The royal london show Chiltern and Thames Show Jumping I would like to know if there are any other societies you would feel in would benefit from (not RIHS HOYS BSPS etc.). I know the biggest moan is about wanted - nice rosettes and sashes -good space - panel judges - not too expensive entry fees etc, but i want to know the details!!! Any comments read and valued!! Also if you are interested in sponsorship or hiring a tradestand space there, all for GREAT deals, please contact my colleague on ew1234@rocketmail.com Many Thanks to you all.!!

Apart from all the above, just to say a big, nice, well organised working in area & reasonable sized lorry park is a must! Also a ring of fun classes, & if you enter so many of those classes you get a discount? Have something for everyone. Also NB times!

I know it is really difficult but I think giving out prize money is a real bonus. I know that really depends on how much sponsorship you get etc and if FAR easier said than done, but sometimes just getting a little bit of cash, even if it doesn't cover your entry fee, can really make you feel like it was worth coming. Prize money is becoming rarer and rarer in these financially dire times so if it is feasible it might be a real selling point for you! Good working in and parking, with nice rosettes too. And a friendly atmosphere! Good luck! x

Large working in area, large car park for trailors and lorrys, a 'fun ring', nb times, lots of fun prizes for the younger ones, section champions/ ring champions etc. Where is it going to be held? X

You could include the Chiltern and Thames rider showing classes too? Nice rosettes and classes for novice ponies/riders (no age limit?) A good championship is always a must too
