Relieving boredom

Any ideas for entertaining a bored little man who is on boxrest for the foresee able future

He isn't hugely food motivated so not sure if swedes on strings and the like would prove popular.

He has a ball with nuts (loves it but doesn't last long) a tongue twister (not interested) loads of hay double netted, fresh grass pulled a few times a day, busy yard so loads going on, lots of visitors popping in to say hello and scratch his ears but poor little chap looks so sad

Have you though about buying him a mirror?? He can look at himself alday and it looks like they have company all day then, even at night! Worjed for a horse down are yard... have you also tried opening his door, and putting the mess stoppers in the doorway. (can be bought from robinsons etc). He will then get to see abit more of what is going on as well as being safley tucked away in his box!.

try putting a radio in his stable too

Thanks, good suggestions I'll try those, although he is allowed out for short walks now so its improving
