hello i am in the process of buying a second hand saddle for my welsh section b who turns 4 this year. can anyone tell me what sort of shape of pony the ideal ramsey suits? is it more for the flat backed horse or does it suit something with a bit of wither? i have not seen an ideal ramsey in the flesh so its difficult to see how much clearance at the withers it has. my youngster is not overly round but has a fairly high wither which is proving quite difficult to fit any replies would be greatfully received! many thanks, emma

Hi - we have a wide ideal ramsey and it fits out sec B perfectly - he has more of a wither than our sec A(flat) who fits the wide hayden. The wide samantha does not fit our Sec B at all - tips up at back hence the ideal ramsey as this sits nicely around his withers. My daughter thinks its the comfiest saddle ever and will not swap to another.
