Can't believe there is no thread for this already but I rejoined Nps in December online & the money was instantly taken from my account, so far I have still not received my card. I find it really frustrating as nps are so adement that in order to qualify you have to produce your card in the ring. The first qualifier I am aware of takes place this weekend & from what I am aware of they are frantically emailing copies of membership cards to people that are wishing to compete at this show!!! I understand they want to reduce costs by issuing them at the same time as the year book (ie only one lot of postage) but surely they either need to change this ruling either that you have a certain amount of time to join in full if you are lucky enough to qualify, or if you are already a member you do not need to produce your card in the ring, nps will validate you as a member & the qualifier is honoured, or they stop allocating qualifiers before the cards are produced!!  ? It all seems a little over complicated for me  |

We rang yesterday because we rejoined last week but still haven't received our cards. NPS told us that they weren't sending out cards for a while, unless you requested you wanted them for a certain time (this weekend). I need mine for this weekend and they haven't printed them yet so are sending me an email with something I can use just for tomorrows RI qualifer - hoping it will work because I don't think my mum will be too happy driving two hours away and being turned down for the class!!!

I believe the show tomorrow will have a list of paid up competitors, I think that was what they said on their website.

i joined just before christmas-have not recieved mine emailed them last night got a reply this morning stating there were not being post for a few more weeks :s

Membership Cards and packs, including the Review and Council Voting Papers, are being despatched as from Thursday 9th February. Please bear with us as this will take a few days to complete the packing and mail out.

Bsps only took 2 days to send me my cards and i did not even request them quickly. Nps always take their time. I did not have my card once as they took so long to send it and i won the qualifier that day but could not take it!

I emailed NPS before, as I had sent off for cards 3/4 weeks ago. They quickly replied, stating that the cards will be issued as of tomorrow onwards (Thursday 9th feb) as they were issuing them with the reviews etc. I personally wasnt in a rush for my card, but was hoping that it wasn't lost in the post!! :-)

give them their due the cards are only required for RIHS Worker qualifiers as the winter qualifiers dont required cards to be produced in the ring, nor for you to be a member.
If competitiors required their card for RIHS classes they were emailed copies over
