I bought a Farringtons straight cut suede show saddle last summer for my PBA, it is lovely! It has good deep panels with a rear gusset, which I prefer to the flat type. It has a discreet knee roll which seems to be just right for my lower leg. The seat is so comfortable, and you feel like you are sat in and around the saddle rather than being perched on top, I felt that would also be nice for a ride judge. I ride him in a falcon event saddle for work purposes, but put the Farrington on once a week just to indulge myself, if it was'nt suede, I'd ride in it every day, its the most comfortable show saddle I have ever ridden on, and it sits very well on my boy and shows his shoulder off a treat.

I'm quite surprised you're not keen on the Marjorie, I love it! So comfy, but then again this one is pretty worn I guess. Try looking at a few worker saddles if you want a slight knee roll, some aren't that forward cut & only have a small amount of knee roll.

Like Lrh123 was going to suggest the Ideal Ramsey, it's the same tree as a Majorie but we love ours x

Hacks tend to have shapelier backs than some, though can still be wide, so a decent rear gusset may be needed to keep the cantle up and keep the seat in balance. We have our Phoenix Symphony, designed for hacks, riding horses, part breds etc though I fitted the first ever one to a Welsh C ironically!

I have just got a Matthew Lawrence comfort show saddle that I adore from the saddle exchange co. It is so comfy for me (I am v tall yet can fit my legs in it & it's straight cut) but my mare ( lw hunter) goes beautifully in it. Gini from saddle exchange is v helpful. they come to you with selection of saddles
