How sorry I feel for all involved in running the show and I thank you all for the efforts you have gone to so far. I am sure that you have made the correct decision in view of the forecast. There is a difference in the ground being a bit wet....and being verging on dangerous.

If you are thinking of rescheduling how about going for either the Sunday 22nd or the following Saturday/Sunday 28th/29th July as there always seems to be a lull in shows before the championships start.

Well all credit has to go to the organisors and committee of NCPA Staffs. Not only have they made the most amazing effort to keep "the show on the road" but communication has been excellent. I am very sorry that all the hard work you have all put in has come to this sad decision . However I am sure we all agree that safety is paramount and the decision is the wisest. MANY THANKS. Withoiut people like you we would have no shows. You have my utmost admiration and heartfelt gratitude.

Oh thats such a shame, this blooming weather is causing hassle for all of us, The Charity show in august is in jeopardy due to the river bursting just don't knowhow long the ground will take to repair, it ruining carnivals, summer Fayre's and all sorts our local RC has canceled a big open charity show this Sunday, wonder how market bosworth is holding up for a weeks time

Is it not possible to put the HOYS qualifiers on at a venue with 2 indoor arenas and cancel all the other classes for this year surely the HOYS qualifiers are paramount so the show does not lose them for future years, also finding another date that suits everyone will be impossible, please try to get dates that do not clash with other HOYS qualifiers.

What a nightmare! Thanks for great communication from all the organisers. There will always be other qualifiers. Safety must come first

I agree Redmaddi - I think Sad is being unfair - No one can help the British Weather and why suggest that you can just hold the HOYS classes - what about everyone else that enjoys showing - HOYS isnt' the be all and end all of it!! Staffs won't lose the HOY'S as they have consistently had huge classes over the years.

Sorry i did not mean to offend anyone i think Tanina has done a fantastic job and worked her socks off to reschedule the show however i am only saying what i have heard that shows can lose their qualifiers if they have allocate them elsewere i was only making a suggestion honestly some people will try to make an arguement no matter what

Thank you to all the NCPA committee for trying so hard to keep going. "If" by Kipling springs to mind. You all deserve a medal and our eternal thanks. Without people like you we would have no shows to go to. Ignore the selfish idiots on here who would put themselves and others at risk just to go to a bloody HOYS qualifier. There is more in life. But thank you again .

I actually thought Sad's idea was quite a good one - after all, if you could do the qualifiers indoors on the same date you would have the same judges etc, and nowhere near as much hassle trying to refund people etc afterwards. I am impressed at the speed with which the cancellation has got round the internet community - for once we seem to be doing something useful and not just moaning!!!
