Celtic Caprice was fab as were the others mentioned. I can go back even further and say Cnapaton Calypso and Tricula Goldfinch and Wrigley Puccini with Hayden Hankey.

It's more about the era and looking at some of the above ponies the 80's were amazing for workers, mega entries, people would stand 10-15 deep at the champs to watch open workers..there was another good pony before those too...Mr Wonderful

Cuckoo definitely, then perhaps Wrigley Puccini.
Also Sefton Tony of Aldebourne (whp of the year 1981) and Twyford Cracker (whp of the year 1980). Towy Valley Maurice was lovely, and Rathkenny Gypsy Moth was hugely prolific in the North in the late 70's/early 80's.

Whitemere Christopher Robin was the best pony I ever owned. Such a genuine pony who had the best temperament, true childs pony and best friend.

Several ponies missed off this list but the most obvious is Beat the Boss. Several ponies who are on the list have never been able to beat him! The only 133 to have won the RI Supreme (only 2 workers have ever won it and the other was a 153), and he has won the international class at the summer champs 3 years on the trot. He can be humorous, but he's very hard to beat when he wants to win!
