My mum became a member of NPS yesterday and her card should be sent through soon however, I'm competing in the Picton Novice classes this year, so if I qualify for this championship will I have to become a member as well? Are the picton's the only NPS novice classes I can do this year? Thanks

You only need to become a Junior Member, to compete in the Dressage Finals & the Young Rider at the Spring Festival. So no, only your Mum needs to be a member to qualify for the Picton.

There are pure novice and novice qualifiers at winter shows now. These qualify for the NPS spring festival at Malvern at the end of April. There is a list of shows holding qualifiers for NPS classes on the NPS website. NPS also have qualifiers for 4, 5 and 6yr old ponies which qualify for the summer champs. Good Luck.
