We are holding in hand and ridden qualifiers for NCPA Pony of the Year, NPS winter, Equifest, CHAPS winter and the Veteran Horse Society. Also BSPS Bright Stars - our Champion wins a FREE clinic lesson with Richard/Marjorie Ramsey!

NCPA PONY OF THE YEAR SHOW 2011
This Show is a qualifier for the NCPA Pony of the Year Show, and the Part-Bred Welsh Champs to be held at Uttoxeter Racecourse on the 11th September 2012. The first three prize winners in all appropriate classes will qualify and
the highest placed part bred Welsh in the first 6 places not already qualified. NCPA Star Rosettes will be awarded in classes 5, 18, 22, 31. Members must enter the ring wearing a NCPA badge, and be in possession of their CURRENT YEAR Membership Card in the ring on receipt of the rosette. Classes marked * in schedule.
NCPA Registered Pony Rosettes will be awarded in classes 7, 12, 25 and 29. Red armbands MUST be worn. Classes marked ** in schedule.
NPS Winter Championship Qualifying Rounds
This show is affiliated to the National Pony Society and the NPS affiliated classes will be run under NPS rules. Classes are open to Members and Non-Members of the NPS, but Non-Members will need to become Full members to enter the finals at the NPS Spring Festival 2012.
The NPS General Rules for Showing apply (see NPS website for details).
In each class the three highest placed ponies, not already qualified, within the first six places, will qualify. Winnings in the 2011/2012 Novice and Pure Novice Winter Championships will not debar ponies from the NPS 2012 Mountain and Moorland Novice Ridden competitions.
CHAPS Winter Restricted Qualifier
Open to all horses & ponies that have not been placed at HOYS at any time. Both the owner and rider of any exhibit need not be fully paid up members of CHAPS (UK) at the time of the Competition, nor must the animal be registered; but to validate the qualification, both membership and registration must be applied for within 14 days of the qualification. All Stallions must be graded with CHAPS UK in order to compete Membership & Registration send to: CHAPS (UK) Admin, 1 Mclaren Cottages, Abertysswg, Rhymney, Tredegar NP22 5BH. Exhibitors not to have qualified for HOYS in the current and previous year in which the finals will be held, (e.g. for 2012 Finals the horse or pony must not have qualified for HOYS in either 2010 or 2011). Qualification for highest placed native and non native pony and native and non native horse.
Veteran Horse Society The Veteran Horse Showing Ltd Olympia Area Qualifiers are open to both Members & Non Members of the Veteran Horse Showing/Society. Please note all competitors should acquaint themselves with the rules of the VHS they can be found at www.veteran-horse-showing.co.uk . That ONLY Veteran Horse Society Members are eligible to compete in the Regional Championship. Qualification cards will ONLY be given the first 3 Members with their V.H.S. Membership/Horse Registration cards/Covering Letter from Show Office. The Regional winners will go on to compete at the Veteran Horse Showing Ltd Championship Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show at Olympia in December
B.S.P.S. BRIGHT STARS Animals do not require a JMB height certificate. Animals & riders do not need to be registered to qualify or compete at the Final. The 1st, 2nd, & 3rd placed ponies in each class will qualify for the final to be held at the 2012 BSPS Championship Show. Qualification cards will be awarded to the FIRST THREE ANIMALS in each class. SHOW RULES & CONDITIONS STRICTLY ADHERED TO
1. The organisers of this show have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of
everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the Organisers & all Officials & Stewards. The Committee do not hold themselves responsible for any loss or damage to persons, animals or property, prior to, during & after the events in this schedule/programme.
2. Whilst every effort will be made to stick to the timetable laid out in the schedule, all times are approximate.
3. All competitors to be in the Collecting Ring 15 minutes before their class.
4. All Riders must wear correctly secured British Standard Skull Caps/Riding Hats Nos.EN1384, PAS 015, BSI 4472 or 6473 or PAS accredited hats must be worn by riders at all times when mounted.
5. The Committee reserve the right to combine or divide Classes & also the right to interpret alter or add to these rules & conditions & finally settle all matters in connection with the Show.
6. The Committee reserve the right to refuse any entry.
7. Proof of age of a competitor or height of Pony/Horse may be demanded.
8. No entry will be accepted without the Entry Fees being fully paid.
9. All protests & objections must be made to the Secretary in writing, within 30 minutes of the completion of the Class in question & accompanied by a deposit of £50 which will be returned if the objection is upheld by the Committee.
10. All colts or stallions 2 years old & over, must possess a Ministry Licence or appropriate Breed Stallion Licence & must be bitted correctly & handled by an adult.
11. The Committee cannot be responsible for the clashing of classes & competitors should bear this in mind when making entries.
12. All affiliated sections are run in accordance with their society or association rules.
13. The judges decision is final.
14. In the case of the show being cancelled an admin charge of £2 will be retained by the show from each exhibitors entry fees.

SHOW RULES & CONDITIONS STRICTLY ADHERED TO
1. The organisers of this show have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of
everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the Organisers & all Officials & Stewards. The Committee do not hold themselves responsible for any loss or damage to persons, animals or property, prior to, during & after the events in this schedule/programme.
2. Whilst every effort will be made to stick to the timetable laid out in the schedule, all times are approximate.
3. All competitors to be in the Collecting Ring 15 minutes before their class.
4. All Riders must wear correctly secured British Standard Skull Caps/Riding Hats Nos.EN1384, PAS 015, BSI 4472 or 6473 or PAS accredited hats must be worn by riders at all times when mounted.
5. The Committee reserve the right to combine or divide Classes & also the right to interpret alter or add to these rules & conditions & finally settle all matters in connection with the Show.
6. The Committee reserve the right to refuse any entry.
7. Proof of age of a competitor or height of Pony/Horse may be demanded.
8. No entry will be accepted without the Entry Fees being fully paid.
9. All protests & objections must be made to the Secretary in writing, within 30 minutes of the completion of the Class in question & accompanied by a deposit of £50 which will be returned if the objection is upheld by the Committee.
10. All colts or stallions 2 years old & over, must possess a Ministry Licence or appropriate Breed Stallion Licence & must be bitted correctly & handled by an adult.
11. The Committee cannot be responsible for the clashing of classes & competitors should bear this in mind when making entries.
12. All affiliated sections are run in accordance with their society or association rules.
13. The judges decision is final.
14. In the case of the show being cancelled an admin charge of £2 will be retained by the show from each exhibitors entry fees.
