hey horse gossipers, have recently bought my first saddle as used to borrow a friends, its a 17" Samantha and love it.
im now looking for a show nummah for it, i enquired about the courtlea nummahs and was told they were £150 which is way out of my price range. so next i asked about the fylde and they are £100 which is still to much
Does anyone no any cheaper brands and where i can get them???

You will be disappointed with anything other than a Courtlea IMO. Phone Mrs Leather - she often has nice second hand ones for sale on behalf of clients.

Le Mieux are good... I have a brand new one which I bought as a spare for my other coloured...used only once in the ring under a 17" saddle......I will sell that if you would like .....I would like £80 for it if possible ....let me know by inbox if you are interested ...currently lent to a friend to see if it fits against her saddle....if she doesnt want it would be more than hapy to sell it... I really dont need two!!

Cheaper sheepskin at best sheds and eventually falls apart, at worst it does that AND it made up from several small pieces sewn together. Sheepskin is not cheap - if you want to save money then look at wool lined pads like NuuMed make. Not many horses actually NEED sheepskin.

I have a lovely sheepskin edged half pad from horse health, it is an acavallo one and my pony goes loads better in it than anything else so must be good for her back to.
