How exciting! The judge will be looking for a pony that has that goes well, has good conformation and is overall a good example of the class. However, a lot of ponies have these qualities, so it will be more a case of having that "star quality" that gets you noticed and remembered by the judge, especially in a big class. Everything has to be polished and professional. Why not watch a few qualifiers before you have a go, so you can really get to grips with what you need to do? I'm sorry, I don't compete in coloured classes but I hope that can be of some use to you!! x
